Crewsure specialises in underwriting international accident and health products for commercial shipping, crew management and other maritime companies, on behalf of certain underwriters at Lloyd’s, in order to protect their Maritime Labour Convention obligations in respect of their seafarers and dependent families. Working through specialist marine brokers in over 14 countries, Crewsure provides bespoke solutions to maritime clients to create unique solutions for superyacht owners, cruise liners, energy production, and general maritime shipping. Crewsure was founded by Robert Johnston, the company chairman, who is a well-known figure in the maritime insurance world for over 45+ years and now joined by Andrew Briant as the new Chief Executive.
